Make a donation to A Woman's Place

On April 26th, at the Chalfont Studio, we will be holding a Kick-a-thon with our students each doing 500 kicks to raise money for a worthy charity: A Womans Place (Click here for info about AWP http://www.awomansplace.org/ )   AWP is a domestic violence agency, the only one of its kind in our county, and they provide free, private and confidential services and assistance to victims of domestic abuse and violence.   I am going to be doing a breaking demonstration at the completion of the event, breaking at least 50 patio bricks, concrete slabs 2" thick and 16" x 8" in size with various strikes. (Attached to this e-mail is the press release we are sending out to the local newspapers which has a picture of one of the breaks from last year.)

If you are able, please sponsor my breaking demonstration. All proceeds go to AWP. If you sponsor me for 10 cents a brick, that would be a total donation of just $5. $1 per brick would be a donation of $50. Of course, higher amounts would be appreciated, but any amount will help this great organization.

Of all the chain letters and junk mail we get and read each day, I think this would be one that would benefit so many people who can use the help.
